David | Swindon, Wiltshirex mecedes 300te although not a legal requirement it has a cat convertor system.there is a hole about 15mm dia on the upper side of the pipe between the intermediate pot and the third last pot.cheapest solution if practical would be to weld a saddle patch over the hole pot would have to be dismounted for job access.since the pipe is welded to the entry point of the third pot if it cannot be repaired or replaced then probably have to fit a new third pot.
